« Never Assume Smooth Prunes? »

I heard a story earlier about another resident of what I call "Nutjob Hills", I'll call him "Mr. Small", that does a wonderful job of illustrating how some folks almost manage to think.

You see Mr. Small is very dissatisfied with being less than he has always expected to be.  The story goes that over the years he's tried all manner of devices, exercises and other "cures", stopping short only of actual surgery in his effort to remedy things.

Now the buzz is that he's decided to get a supply of human growth hormone and some insulin needles and inject it directly into the problem area.  His idea is that if it's applied in such a manner that it will cause a localized burst of growth that would cure what he sees as a serious shortage.

Putting aside for the moment that it just doesn't work that way, he's obviously desperate if he's willing to use needles.  Oh he needs a shot alright.  A shot of self confidence and a decision to accept who and what he is and learn to deal.

I mean seriously, needles?!?!?
