Understanding Twilight

Posted by Non-Hamster on May 30th, 2010

So even now after it's pretty much over (until the next book gets made into a move, whereupon it will all start over again) you still sometimes wonder "just what is it about twilight that girls love so much?"  It's a legitimate question, because if you can understand that, then you are on your way to a partial understanding of how the average female mind works.

So how is it that a story that, in my own opinion, would be much better off if the books were all shredded and processed into hemorrhoid treatment instead of making them into inane movies about a clueless, socially inept teen girl and a vampire that goes so far against the grain that it's actually painful how stupid the movie is?

While it may not be the definitive answer, I have found a video on YouTube that explains a pretty good theory.  Check it out and see if you don't agree.

Oh, and by the way, Vampires DON'T sparkle!
