Blisters

Posted by Non-Hamster on December 11th, 2010

It may seem like an odd sort of thing to be thinking about in early December but I need to remember to get myself a decent pair of work gloves before spring rolls around again.  At least I need to if I'm going to get through the next lawn mowing season without having to deal with blisters all over my hands like I did this last summer.

It's weird really.  I'm not one of those guys with what you'd call "delicate" skin.  I have always been able to deal with quite a bit and not have much problems at all.  However this last summer, each and every time I went to mow the lawn I ended up walking away from the job with no less than two fresh blisters on my hands from operating the weed eater.

Of course, I should also see about getting the lawn mower fixed so that the weed eater can go back to being used only as a trimming tool instead of for the whole job.

"ya think?"
