One Resolution Achieved

Posted by Non-Hamster on January 19th, 2011

Over the course of 2010 I allowed myself to get into a kind of a rather bad habit.  Specifically, I got lazy and started using the overdraft protection on my checking account like a payday advance loan.  In one respect it was handy as all get out because my limit on this overdraft protection is high enough that I've very little chance of exceeding it.

However it really wasn't a good idea at all to use it like this because each overdraft, while paid by the bank, also cost money.  Therefore this year one of my resolutions was to stop using the overdraft protection this way and go back to keeping it in reserve for emergencies only.

Well, I've reached this goal.  Now all I have to do is keep to the system that I've worked out and not go back to the lazy (and expensive!) way of doing things.
