Bob Becomes A Technophobe?

Posted by Non-Hamster on March 29th, 2012

I started to say that there's another rumor about Bob and why he's disappeared but that would be silly because there are *always* new rumors about that. In fact they seem to be multiplying at the rate of several hundred (or more) per day.

This one however is a tad unique.  (not to mention highly unlikey)

One of the many anonymous tipsters that pass on (and probably think up) these rumors has "reported" that the reason he disappeared is that he's become something of an extreme technophobe.  Becuase of this he's decided to adopt a lifestyle that takes him far away from any kind of modern technology more advanced than the horse and buggy.

The "tipster" reports that When Bob disappeared he went east to join an Amish community where he is now allegedly doing an honest days work making amish baby furniture which is then sold to finance the community's needs.

I have to say that this rumor couldn't possibly be farther from something that he'd do.  Bob is not, never has been, and never will be a technophobe.  In fact, he's all about technology, he loves it because it makes things easier for him to do.  From microwave ovens to heat up his favorite frozen bratwurst pizza to DVD and Blu-Ray players and large flat screen plasma t.v. sets that he uses to enjoy watching his "Babes of Star Trek Gone Wild" videos.  Not to mention the cellular and satellite phones that he uses to run up humongous phone bills while talking to friends all over the planet (and making a fair percentage of prank calls).

So no, this rumor is patently false.  Not something he'd even think of.
