Y’know, I always used to think that the old saw about criminals always returning to the scene of the crime was just so much hooey. As things like this usually turn out though, there are exceptions to unwritten rules of common sense. In this case the woman steals a pair of shoes, then when they don’t fit, she comes back to exchange them!

Shoplifter nabbed trying to exchange stolen shoes

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli police arrested a woman who stole a pair of Crocs shoes when she returned to the store hours later to exchange them because they did not fit her son, a police spokesman said on Friday.

I am not a hamster (nor a criminal) but if I were to steal something, you can be certain that I’d not be waltzing back into the same store a few hours later to try exchanging my stolen goods!
