Some Japanese scientists have managed to come up with a breed of frog that has transparent skin. Ok, it's not transparent like glass, but it's sufficiently see through that you can actually see it's innards. Now I'll admit that not only does this look strange and is somehow cool in a way, I am not a hamster therefore I have to ask... What's the point of this? WHY did they choose to do this instead of any number of "more immediately useful" projects?
