Y’know, this nonsense about oil prices being what they are is just exactly that… nonsense.

An entry in one of the news summaries in my email yesterday talked about OPEC getting the price of oil up to nearly one hundred dollars a barrel and frankly, there’s no excuse for it. none.

I am not a hamster, you can’t tell me that the ONLY reason that crude oil prices are going in the direction they are is greed, pure and simple. Then add the oil companies into the mix and it gets even more fun with more profit tacked on before it finally gets to the consumer.

I don’t have any proof (though I don’t doubt it’s out there someplace), but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s entirely possible to have gasoline at $0.23 cents a gallon and still allow Big Oil lots of profit.

Maybe someday that proof will show up in public.

My, won’t THAT be fun to watch?!
