I'm mostly a homebody type but I am not a hamster, once in a while like anyone else, I get the travel bug. In my case it doesn't mean actually going anywhere because let's face it, that kind of travel is mostly for the wealthy.. or at least the wealthier than I am. Still, there are a lot of places in this world that I'd like to see. One such thought involves exploring France. Not only is there a lot of art of all kinds to see, there is the food and the architecture. Even many hotels in france are themselves examples of architecture that you don't see much anymore. Places like The Louvre and other sites.

And then there's the French countryside, the vineyards & wineries and the scenery. Even though I've a problem with heights I'd like to see the view from the Eiffel Tower. Of course there's that little detail, getting there and back and having a place to stay while there. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that the hotels in paris are great and the flight great. However all the nice hotels in France, airlines & so on kinda insist on people paying the bill. So I'll be waiting a while before actuall take a trip like this for real.
