I what I have to stay is probably one of the most ridiculous moves I've heard of in a long time, the Egyptian government has decided to pass a law requiring royalties to be paid anytime somebody makes a copy of a museum piece or monument such as the pyramids.
Now apparently there's talk that this is going to affect all sorts of themed resorts and such all over the world. I am not a hamster, you can't tell me that this is even remotely reasonable or that it's going to pass a sanity test in any court you care to name (outside of Egypt of course).
They're basically extending copyright in excess of 3,000 years and honestly, I can't see how that's going to fly one little bit.
