It's ridiculous enough that the US Military managed to screw up and send a shipment of nuclear missile fuses to Taiwan but now China seems to think they've got some kind of right to start demanding things from the US over the matter.
I am not a hamster, I'm more than willing to grant that it's more than unreasonable for the Air Force to allow this to happen in the first place. We're talking about nuclear weapons systems here, it shouldn't require engraved plaques on them that say "do NOT ship to Taiwan" on them. I wouldn't want to be the people directly responsible for this shipment happening. Whoever made out the shipping orders should have questioned it.
However, given the track record of serious crap coming out of China for the last couple of years, I don't think they need to be demanding anything from the US. As I see it, they haven't anywhere to stand for making demands.
