We had some real “Fun” with the built in wireless network card in my wife’s laptop recently. See, the thing started failing for no apparent reason. Then sometime later, anywhere from an hour or two to a day or more, it would come back on and work until the machine was turned off for the night.

I’ve recently gotten very interested in making videos. Largely because I’ve been learning how to do some cool visual effects. One good example is this video in which I finally managed to achieve the Star Trek TOS style transporter effect.

Anyone out there as tired of political this and that as I am? I mean, the various campaigns for the 2008 election have been going on for over 21 months! I heard that mentioned on the news the other day and it just kinda struck me. I knew it had been a long time, over a year in fact, and the whole thing has long since gotten to the point of seeming interminable.
