How To Make Vacuuming Fun

February 24th, 2009

Would it surprise you to find out that I don’t like vacuuming? Probably not right? It’s one of those chores that has to be done yet can be a literal pain to do. Dragging out the old upright and hauling it over the floors takes a lot more out of me these days than it ever used to. Where I used to be able to do the whole house in one go, I now stop about halfway through and decide if I want to just put there rest of the job off to the next day.

Red Square is, to say the least, tricky. I think it’s entirely safe to say that the majority of people do not survive for more than twelve seconds. Many people don’t even survive two seconds.

Symptoms Of Changing Times

Every once in a while, usually for no particular reason, I find myself thinking about how much things have changed in this world just in the span of my own lifetime. This time it has to do with schools. Now, I am not a hamster nor was I ever one of those “little angel” types that never seemed to get in trouble but I think it’s safe to say that kids today have taken things to an entirely new level.

My Nightmare On Elm St

February 16th, 2009

It started out innocently enough, I was busy at my computer updating some blogs and working on a couple of other projects, just like any other day when I began to smell smoke.

Somebody told me once that people love lists and from what I’ve seen when looking around on sites like digg I would have to say it’s true. Lists, particularly top ten or top 100 lists do seem to be quite popular. Therefore I set about the task of coming up with a top ten list of my own. While surfing around looking for inspiration I stumbled across several sites that got the nostalgia flowing, reminding me of when I was in school
