Some years ago there was a movie that featured John Travolta and Nick Cage called "Face Off". It was a fictional yarn about a cop that had his face removed and the bad guy's face transplanted in it's place so that he could impersonate the buy guy.

Of course, that was just a story. The bad guy was one of those that was one diet pill short of a bottle (translation, he was a freakin loon!) and wasn't about to cooperate and of course, things went south fast.

Now I am not a hamster, I know that things even now still can't be done the way they were in the movie, but there IS a case of a Cleveland, Ohio woman that has recently been the recipient of an actual face transplant.

This kind of surgery is obviously still in it's infancy but it still leaves me wondering what they'll try to transplant next. Will we yet have a modern Dr. Frankenstein transplanting human brains?
