Hackers is one of those great "kids with computers save the world" kind of movies that I've always loved. This scene here is where Dade Murphy, formerly known as "Zero Cool", who is now using the handle of "Crash Override" is enjoying his newly regained freedom to use a computer for he first time since he was eleven years old.
I think though that today he'd have a harder time BSing the night guy into giving him access to the station's computer system since today almost everybody knows about things like hacking, antispyware software, anti virus software, and all that.
What I'd really like to see is a 2009 remake of the original. One that actually showed REAL computer screenshots instead of the beautiful but totally bogus hyper-real displays that they used in this and other movies at a time when no such thing was possible.
