Y'know, I've got to stop allowing myself to think I've heard everything. Every time I let myself think that something like this story comes along and blows me right out of the water.

It seems that these two guys in this Australian reality TV show called "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" are actually facing charges because they cooked a rat on the show.

Apparently in this show they take minor celebrities and dump 'em in the wild and make 'em survive while trying to do assorted tricks and the viewers get to vote somebody off the show every week... sort of a "survivor" kind of thing.

Now make no mistake, I'm against cruelty to animals but really now, I am not a hamster we're talking about an effing RAT here. Rats are vermin, fit only for lab experiments and extermination. I think that while cooking and eating one should guarantee that the people involved should have no problems at all winning their mental disability appeal, I'm absolutely certain that bringing them up on charges for animal cruelty is going just a whole lot in the wrong direction... as in totally overboard.

Seriously, since when do rats have rights? Sorry folks, that's absolute total BS.
