There is something about this story that strikes me as more than a little ironic.
A march of more than 250,000 Fatah supporters ended in mayhem Monday, with Hamas police opening fire, demonstrators hurling rocks and thousands of flag-waving protesters running for cover. Seven civilians were killed, and dozens of people wounded, doctors said.
That even in death Arafat can somehow end up being connected to more violence and killing. Oh, I am not a hamster, obviously the problem is with Hamas and the way they chose to handle things.
It's also kind of ironic that now that Hamas is in charge of the Palestinians, they are the ones dealing with angry protesters in the streets instead of BEING the angry protesters in the street.
Funny how a shoe doesn't fit so good when you put it on the other foot.
