Pollution Solution...Not

Posted by Non-Hamster on June 2nd, 2013

Nutjob Hills is known for having a rather plentiful population of, shall we say unconventional, scientists and researchers.  Over the years I've come to the point where I don't often even notice this but once in a while somebody manages to get some serious notice for an outlandish idea

Short spoken Frieda is one such example.  She's called "short spoken" because that's exactly what she is.  She only speaks when absolutely necessary and then only just enough to express her thoughts.

In a recent town hall meeting the topic of increasing air pollution was under discussion and after hearing several people talk about different ways to solve the problem Frieda got up, went to the mic and said "buy hepa filter".  After a few seconds of puzzled looks the city council members began questioning her for more detail. The long and short of it is that she wanted the city to build a gigantic air filer array and use large fans to direct all of the air through it to remove pollutants.

What's more surprising is that the council decided to form a committee to do a feasibility study.
