Do you feel naked without your watch?

Posted by Non-Hamster on July 24th, 2007

I certainly do.  Recently my watch died.  Or at least I think it's dead.  It's a Timex "Iron Man" Triathlon.  The display is stuck on Mon Jan 1 12:00:00, The indiglo light works, though when it comes on the display blanks out.  When I press the "set" button to try setting the correct time, the display changes to "Hold", which is supposed to happen for like four seconds, but it never changes to set mode.  When I let go of it the display returns to what it was.  I am not a hamster, that looks to me like a dead battery or a dead watch.  Thing is, if it's a dead watch, where am I going to find a replacement?  Timex has gone and changed the design to something I don't particularly care for and I'm just a tad stubborn, I don't want change but I have to admit to looking at some of the hamilton watches on ewatches.com and I have to admit They look interesting.
