The Crane GMA Forgot

Posted by Non-Hamster on May 30th, 2008

I was watching the news in the morning and as we browsed past some other channels there were several, almost all the morning news programs in fact, were carrying a lot of coverage with live video of the crane collapse in New York City.

What I found surprising is that when we finally got to GMA, they weren't giving it any coverage at all.  There was a very brief note about it in the crawl at the bottom of the screen but the incident didn't get any live mention at all that I saw.

I am not a hamster, Seems to me that something like this is pretty big news, especially when it's happening right there in NYC, probably not all that far from the GMA studio in Times Square.

I wonder what's up with that?  They're usually more on the ball than that.
