Not Everything “Cowboy” Rides A Horse

It’s almost strange but living here in one of the more rural parts of the Ozarks like I do, you’d think I’d have figured this one out by now. I mean, I am not a hamster, there’s plenty of places ’round here where you don’t even see saddles for sale, never mind horses.

I know that a long time ago I would have honestly thought that no matter where you go in places like Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and so on that there would be plenty of people who looked like the stereotypical Cowboy… complete with horse, spurs, six-guns and the appropriate white or black hat depending on their personality.

Why am I rambling on about this? Well, partly because we watched “Nashville Star” tonight and I’m going to be writing about it on another blog. Partly because I’m not quite myself tonight and in fact (appropriately enough) feel like something of a “Blog Doofus”. That sound silly or a bit strange maybe? Then again who knows what might happen when you put a couple of quoted words together and add a “dot com” to the result.

Argh! Now I *KNOW* I’m getting weird. I just wrote that with no intention of deleting it in spite of how really bad a pun it was.
