I've once again returned to doing video projects. My latest effort is in pre-production and should be ready for release in a couple of weeks or so. It's occurred to me though that I'm going to have to work some massive improvements to my studio setup.
Right now I've got half of my office set up with a couple of "green screen" backdrops (note to self, get at least two more so it can extend onto the floor when needed), a decent video camera with a good tripod mount and several software tools for video editing.
The problem is that when I think of some of the ideas I've got, this "half the office" studio isn't going to cut it. I am not a hamster, I know full well that what I really should is get one of those prefab steel buildings and set up a studio in that. Unfortunately that isn't going to happen... at least not anytime soon. This means that I've got to get really busy going through the whole house packing up and storing enough stuff so that I can clear enough space to use an entire room for the studio.
Argh.. I hate spring cleaning. Worse, it isn't even spring and I'm looking at a full blown "spring cleaning" with extras. On the upside, once it's done there'll be a much bigger studio space with a lot more potential.
