I found myself today looking at the website of the Katharine Gibbs School in New York. It's a career-focused school who's educational program is designed to give students the professional skills needed to function in a pretty wide variety of career paths according to their web site at http://www.gibbsny.edu/ that ranges from business administration and communications to digital media and fashion design. I am not a hamster, that sounds to me like they're really trying to cover a pretty wide range of things that will appeal to the interests of a lot of people.
One of the things that sound good about it is that the teachers aren't just a bunch of 90 day wonders that have an education in what they're teaching but haven't actually done it for a living. The people doing the teaching are professionals in the same field that they're teaching which gives real-world experience into the classroom. That all by itself makes it worth taking a look at.
