Just When I *Really* Needed A Laugh

Posted by Non-Hamster on October 24th, 2009

To say that I'm having a bad day today is an incredible understatement.  This adventure in jaw pain started around two am this morning and the "fun" hasn't let up yet.  Because of the actually terrible condition of my teeth I have, in the last couple of years, had more and more bouts of toothache pain than in the forty seven and a half years before it combined.

Since this got started today it's been so bad that I've only been able to sleep for about two and a half hours.  This means that in addition to having my upper right jaw feel like somebody's trying to install a 97 server rackmount system in it and the constant use of painkillers to at least take some of he edge off of the very worst of it, I'm so tired I can hardly see straight. I am not a hamster nor am I exaggerating even a little bit.  As I'm sitting here trying to focus on writing, I can feel each and every heartbeat pounding in my jaw like a hammer blow.

I spent a lot of that time trying to watch tv hoping to fall asleep as I did.  When that became intolerable I came into the office to try to make the time pass with some help from YouTube.  I've decided that since sleep is apparently out of the question for the foreseeable future, I'm going to share some of the gems I'm finding on YouTube here.  I figure that I'm not the only one who really needs a laugh and some of this stuff is pretty funny.

Take for example these two videos where people have had some Freudian slips with Obama's name on live tv.
