Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m old enough to remember when that phrase was used in PSA’s on tv a lot and no, I am not a hamster, I’m not using it here in the same context as it was used back then.
I don’t quite know entirely why, all those things my mother told me not to do I suppose, I still find myself surprised at the way some people choose to treat their hosts. It shouldn’t be a surprise that this growing level of rudeness extends to the online world.
Do you have a WordPress blog that, every time you log on to it you get this big honking notice that you need to upgrade? Have you pretty much decided that you’ll deal with an upgrade when you’re darn good and ready and don’t want to be nagged about it?

Since it’s beginning, “I am not a hamster” has existed as a sub domain. This is no longer the case. As of about 6 hours ago I have moved the whole thing to a new and more appropriate domain name of it’s own. http://iamnotahamster.net.
