StumbleUpon has become a monstrous success as one of the more unique social bookmarking type sites on the net. Unfortunately it’s also becoming a growing source of irritation. Lately I have received a growing number of stumbles sent to me by people I’ve never heard of and who are not in my friends list.

What If Microsoft Built Cars?

August 31st, 2008

But that, my friends is the blessing, the curse that was avoided is something that online oldtimers will remember from years back. It was in the form of an email that made the rounds several times. It also got posted on countless newsgroups and forums. The content was something that made car buyers shiver and think “God I hope that isn’t gonna happen”.

Stumblin Around: babyearth.com

August 20th, 2008

I imagine that when most people finally get back home after being away for several days they’d prefer to jump in and at least get caught up on some of the tons of email that tend to pile up and I sorta did, though mostly what I did was download it and set it aside to look at later.

A Real Head-Scratcher

July 12th, 2008

I have to say that it is, without doubt, three of the weirdest pictures of a house that I’ve ever seen. There’s no text to explain what’s showing so you have to decide for yourself what’s going on.

Tech Support Humor

May 14th, 2008

I was stumbing again (is it just me or is it habit forming?) ran across a page full of some classic tech support humor. The Computer literate and tech / geek types will get a good chuckle out of it at the very least.
Now I am not a hamster, I’m fully aware that at [...]

This is another gem that I got from a stumble. It’s from one of those things that appeared in a 1950 issue of Popular Mechanics and was attempting to describe what life would be like in 2000.
However I am not a hamster, not only did they miss the mark by quite a [...]

You Have to See This

May 14th, 2008

Ever since I first stated using StumbleUpon to explore semi-random sites all over the net I’ve run into all sorts of things. This one is something that somebody used StumbleUpon’s “Sent to” feature to share it with me. I’ve seen all kinds of products that have been dehydrated for packaging so that they’ll [...]
