StumbleUpon has become a monstrous success as one of the more unique social bookmarking type sites on the net. Unfortunately it’s also becoming a growing source of irritation. Lately I have received a growing number of stumbles sent to me by people I’ve never heard of and who are not in my friends list.

The big news is still the economy and the big financial crisis. You know, that mess gifted upon us by all the greedy so-and-so’s on Wall St? The one that we can probably thank most of our politicians for because they bowed to various special interests and didn’t require thorough enough financial reporting?

There seems to be a wave of things being broken online these days. Recently Microsoft’s revised CAPTCHA system was broken and now slashdot is reporting that Google’s CAPTCHA has been broken.

The problem however is that along the way some really stupid laws get enacted and you have to ask yourself, just HOW did this asininity get signed into law?

The economy is quickly becoming one of the single most important issues for this election. There’s the recent financial nightmares involving Lehman Brothers, Freddi Mac, Fannie May and several other formerly high powered financial companies just about caved in.

Congress has FINALLY passed the bill that will permit offshore oil drilling.

I just saw something on Ars Technica that I can’t help find both funny and sad at the same time. It’s essentially proof of what I think a lot of people have known for a long time and that is that most people’s brains have apparently begun to lose weight in all the wrong ways.

If you’ve ever had any doubts that some people are not only without brains, but they’re also without any sense (you’ll note I didn’t say common sense, there ain’t no such thing anymore. sense isn’t common at all.) or compassion. The story of a woman facing federal charges over a soda that she refused to pay for and then dumped on the counter will convince you.

I am not a hamster, I guess it really IS painfully Obvious but there really is a video revolution going on these days. I’ve even gotten into the act myself on another blog where I’m going to start doing video website reviews.

Newser is reporting that Dick Morris is telling the UK Telegraph (so why don’t they report it?) that while the Clintons are campaigning for Obama like good little democrats, they secretly want McCain to win.
