Newser is reporting that Dick Morris is telling the UK Telegraph (so why don’t they report it?) that while the Clintons are campaigning for Obama like good little democrats, they secretly want McCain to win.

Now that the conventions are over and the political equivalent of a frat party with suits and ties instead of funny shirts is done with for now, it’s time for all campaigning to get going full bore.

Just when I’m sure most of America has the illusion that the mortgage crisis was pretty much over (after all, they stopped talking about it all the time on tv didn’t they?), it turns out to be very much alive and kicking because the news now is talking about… you guessed it… another government bailout.

So now it’s official and Barack Obama has now been “officially” nominated to be the Democratic candidate for president. Honestly, I can’t help wondering why they even bothered to hold a convention. I mean really, I am not a hamster, you just can’t tell me that once Clinton finally conceded and the primaries ended there was any doubt that Obama would get the nomination.
