The economy is quickly becoming one of the single most important issues for this election. There’s the recent financial nightmares involving Lehman Brothers, Freddi Mac, Fannie May and several other formerly high powered financial companies just about caved in.

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is talking up the President’s 700 Billion dollar super bailout plan. He’s saying how it was the least costly option like he was choosing Delta faucets over solid gold bathroom fixtures.

Just when I’m sure most of America has the illusion that the mortgage crisis was pretty much over (after all, they stopped talking about it all the time on tv didn’t they?), it turns out to be very much alive and kicking because the news now is talking about… you guessed it… another government bailout.
